| Over time images taken can deteriorate, get damaged, fade and stain, here at Digital Imaging Wales, we can offer you an in house service to restore those cherished images to their former glory, as the work is done in house, you are rest assured that the work will be carried out to our high standards of quality and workmanship, using only professional software suites and the latest techniques we can restore 99% of the images brought to us. The restored images are then finished in a professional laboratory using professional quality photographic paper that we use for all out portraits, we don not use inkjets at any stage in the process. | |
| Even modern images and recently taken photographs can benefit from retouching, what about that cherished once in a moment image which has something or someone in the background spoiling your enjoyment of that image, within reason we can remove almost any distracting items or people from the photograph, therefore allowing you to have a cherished memory that is enjoyable. We can also deal with "Red Eye", closed eyes from people blinking at the wrong time(only if an image is available with the eyes to replace from). All the work is carried out after an initial consultation and sight of the image, an estimate will then be given of the cost to repair or restore the image, at this stage you can decide if you would like the format of the image to be changed (old photographs from the early 20th century were produced in sizes not matching todays modern frames) or for the image to be mounted in a card mount to be finished with a frame of your choice, either from us or your own.
