Kayleigh Whitton LBPPA......
I've always been interested in Photography due to my dad, so when I left school, and had the opportunity to study A Level Photography, It was through the medium of Photography that I really found my niche in being able to release my creative side and produces exciting and contemporary images. During the course, I knew I had to gain real world experience, I approached Digital Imaging Wales after seeing Kevin's work on his website and I felt that working with Kevin on work experience would hone my skills even more.
Its now been two years since I first started accompanying Kevin to weddings as an assistant, to gain experience, and with his guidiance and tuition I have achieved my Licientiateship with the SWPP/BPPA, making me a professional photographer with a recognised qualification, at the age of only 19. I have had my work exhibited at Pontardawe Arts Centre and around Neath & Port Talbot College, I passed my A level in Photography with an A grade pass, and I am now studying photography at Swansea Metropolitan University, with the aim to achieve my degree and continue to my masters degree in photography.
My main photographic interests are in contemporary documentary photography especially with weddings, portraiture and still lifes, I bring a younger eye to the business with a contemporary style, and hope to work full time with Kevin at the end of my studies.
