What should I wear...?

What should we wear

Guidelines on what to wear for your session.....

1. If the seesion is for a formal portrait such as a Graduation or School prom, then the outfit will be chosen as being suitable for the occasion with a suit or dress, and the cap and gowns of the university, evening gown or suit for the school prom.
2. For the more relaxed sessions casual clothes you feel comfortable in are best worn.
3. Venture style sessions will require again casual clothing, and as most of these sessions are fun and play sessions ladies are advised that short skirts are not worn for this style of photography.
4. Group shots, talk to other members of the group and decide on a mutual colour scheme, as this is more pleasing on the eye and suits the image much better than a myriad of different colours, this is not to say you should all dress the same, just decide on blues or autumn colours for example.
5.Family shots, again colour co-ordination can really help to make the shot, often if the children are dressed simialr to the parents it can be fun.
6.Please do avoid excessively bright or luminous colours as these rarely render as seen when printed out.
7.Please avoid stilletto heels as the studio floor is easily damaged by such footwear.
8.You may well be asked to remove your shoes in the "white area" so bear this in mind when choosing your sock colour for the session.
"Family and Venture style sessions use the studio's "White area"."
